Introducation to Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources, grades 9-12
1.0 credit, ElectiveThe areas of study will help you for the entry into college or technical education after high school. The students will: develop an understanding of the role of FFA in Agriculture Education Programs; define and discuss the concepts of Natural Resources; demonstrate an understanding of Animal Science Systems; demonstrate an understanding of plant structure and function; relate basic economic principles to production agriculture and agribusiness management; summarize basic food science technology principles; summarize basic principles involved in agricultural systems technology. A small wood project will be designed and constructed by each student. Each student will be responsible to provide their own material to construct their project.
